C) The children of the 80s are namby pamby pansies who, though willing to wear next to nothing in public, will not shout out callbacks.

After dropping
waltzingmatthea off at her apartment,
auto_de_fe and I began singing bits the Rocky Horror songs on the drive back to Livermore. Of course, I chimed in with various extra and alternate lyrics as is appropriate for a long time attendee of the RHPS. I then lamented how many of the callbacks I felt that I'd forgotten but as I was doing so I came to a realization.
I may have forgotten a lot of callbacks, but the only other people I really noticed doing them were Cast members standing around the theater.
There was an awful lot of things I said, like "Kill That Smurf!", that no one else did. I can chalk some of it up to learning with a different cast in a different time but there was so much we didn't have in common. I cannot believe that it was a theater entirely populated by virgins who hadn't even a smidgen of briefing by their cruel friends that dragged them along to explain the lack of audience participation. This is the same generation I normally want to throttle for talking on cell phones during movies but they couldn't be bothered to open their mouths to utter anything more than the descriptive terms for Brad & Janet.
Since this was a last minute idea, I went in civvies so I suppose I can't complain about lack of participation too much. Paris Hilton has definitely made it possible for the general public to consider the fashions of Transexual acceptable. The women of the audience were well undressed.
In summation, castles don't have phones, Asshole.
