With a couple of rather drunk Australians (yes, I know that's redundantly redundant), we discussed Biggus Dickus at the Pantheon.
From a secluded piazza on the Capitoline Hill overlooking the Forum I announced, "Friends, Romans...Wewease Wodewick!"
There also was a moment of confusion of direction in Via Veneto looking for the Capuchin Chapel of Bones where I ran into some other Americans who also were lost. I, being an ass, suggested that the best plan was to split up. With a perfectly straight face, I was able to say:
"You go north. You go south. I'm...gonna stay here for a while"
And they obeyed me. In fact, they agreed that it was a great plan. Thank you, Mel Brooks.
I told one of the random dressed-up-as-a-centurion guys outside of the Coliseum that try to get you to pay them to take pictures with you to, "Run! With Mucus!" He spoke little English so it was lost him.
