If you haven't scoped out Wordpress, do! It's really easy to roll a basic website, point your own domain at it, and then spend all the time you like fiddling with the pretty bits while having an easy, LJ-type interface to enter content in. Plus, it's MUCH nicer now than way back in the day when I started using it.
