Please, will one of you, maybe four just in case he is feisty, do something about Paul McCartney.  He has been doing things as of late that are an embarrassment to him, the various movements he claims to be supporting, and the memory of his oft-lamented dead wife.  He needs to be sat down in one of his many, many homes (I don't care which one) given a nice cuppa tea and then not allowed to go outside again until he has made a heartfelt written apology for everything ever done by the band Wings.  He is not allowed to try to confront any other problems in the world until he has made amends for this first.

He is allowed to whatever he wants within the confines of his home as long as it doesn't involve contact with the outside world.  I realize we are down to only two former Beatles left, but this doesn't mean he needs to try to make for the deceased's lack of headline time.

To me, things like this tarnish the memory of his friends, his wife, and his own good works.  I am sure the World Class Public Masturbatory Behavior Team at PETA was thrilled though.

For me, all his protest did is let me know there is a reliable source of seal meat.  I still need to test my seafood allergy theory further and pinnipeds are next on the list.

Whatever one thinks of seal hunting general, there's no way around the fact that skinning an animal alive really is unjustifiably cruel.

Yes, one of the biggest criticisms of the hunt is that the hunters don't adhere to the regulations in place for killing the animals in a relatively humane fashion. This is what led to the bans here and from a few other countries. So I'm not sure that I'm with you on this making McCartney look bad. The article you linked to leaves out a lot of the problematic history of the hunts.

I find it reassuring that someone as smart and multi-talented as yourself can still have such trouble with commenting-on-a-comment versus commenting-on-a-post.

I'm taking bets on who goes first, Ringo or Paul. Irony would leave Ringo...the oldest...as last standing.
