Going to England from June 10th until July 1st.

Exact itinerary while in country not set yet, date-wise, except for one thing on the 27th to the 28th:

I AM GOING TO TANKFEST '09!!!

As H.S. Thompson like to put it, this is a very special moment in the History of Sport. Until they start handing out ordinance to professional sports teams, I don't care which sport, the closest America gets to this is college rugby. This has all the best qualities of a fireworks display, moster truck rally and demolition derby combined but with tanks.

If only I could weasel a volcano into all of this...but England is a little short on those.

Three weeks in England this June.

Likely not going any further north than Staffordshire, which means a pull of ribena for me and one for Windscale up in Sellafield ain't happening. Hiking the Ridgeway, Castle Broughton, Stonehenge, the ever popular wander through the British Museum, and the Cornwall Rail Ale Trails are already on the list. I'm tempted by the tank museum locopuff went to. Not sure if I can finagle touristing to any of Britain's nuclear legacy but I may try.

So, Internets, where do I need to go that I haven't thought of?
